Pizza on the Dart Rail - Serious Pizza

In ready for another pizza/Dart outing.  This time I'm headed to Serious Pizza in Deep Ellum.

I'm not used to riding the rail anymore.  So I showed up a little early.   Forgot to check the arrival times before I left the office.

The green or orange lines will get me downtown.  But I'll need a green line train to get to Baylor medical center station.

Here comes my train.

Now I'm onboard and ready for some serious pizza.

So I'm at the joint now.

Quick walk from the rail station.  Right down Malcolm x and right on elm.

This place has a really a cool vibe.  The bar is covered with bottle caps covered with clear coat.

They even spelled out their name.

I even ran into a good friend who was downtown for a meeting.

These pizzas are big.

The lunch specials are a cheese slice and drink for $3 something or a specialty slice and drink for $5. I ended up getting a meat slice.  I thought I was doing a good thing only getting one slice.

Even the slices are huge.

You would think since the slice is so big they would be stingy with the toppings.  But this was covered in meat.  The sausage was great. Thick cut.  Same with the ham. Plenty of taste.

Here's an idea how big their pizzas are.

Four people didn't eat half and they were already asking for a box.

This was my first time at Serious Pizza but it won't be my last.
