Homemade Breakfast Pizza

Once a month at our church, we have a Wednesday night meal together.  Everyone brings something to share.  Typically the nights are themed.  This past week, the theme was Breakfast for Dinner.  I had a few requests to make my Breakfast Pizza.  I've made it for a few things before and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

I found the recipe I use a few years ago.  Link to Recipe Now I will say that in the recipe, they suggest buying a dough already made or using a mix.  I'm not really into that.  I actually use a dough recipe I found a few years back.  It is actually meant for Chicago Deep/Stuffed Pizza. Link to Dough Recipe     And it works good for that.  But when reading the comments, someone mentioned that they liked this dough better as a thin crust dough.  So I tried it that way, and I kinda agree.

Anyway, Here's some pics as I made the pizzas.

So as you can tell, when I made these pizzas, I don't use round pans.  I like rectangle ones.  And I like them to have a decent size lip.  I take cold butter and rub it around on the pan.  This helps the crust not stick.  It also almost fries the crust and makes is really crisp with a nice butter taste.

Now I roll the dough out.  As you can see from the picture, I ended up letting the dough get little hard pieces in it.  But it still works out as good. I need to start putting plastic wrap over the bowl instead of just a towel.

I take 3 eggs.  Beat them and pour them directly on the crust.

So I didn't take enough pics,  But I added the ham, the sausage, mozzarella cheese, and cheddar cheese.

Here's the pizza after I added the bacon.

OK. So this is the second pizza.  I made a few more Pics.  Here I added the egg, ham and sausage.

 Here's after adding the cheese

Here's the two pizzas side by side (one cooked, one uncooked).

I didn't get any more details of the pizza after I cut it.  I do cut it in strips.  one cut length wise and numerous cuts the other way.

So was it good?  Well let's just say it was all gone.  There was lots of food left, but the breakfast pizza was gone.
