New York Pizza - Famous Original Ray's Pizza

I was walking around the hotel and wanted some pizza.  Didn't do any research, but just walked.  This is the first place I ran into.  Right down the street from Time Square.

They had a good selection of different pies.  I ordered a couple of slices and waited on them to stick them in the oven.

Didn't appear to be anything special as far as ovens go.  But they put a nice crisp on the crust.

I got my two slices.  Turns out the picture I took wasn't very good.  Maybe I was anticipating eating them instead of taking a pic...

The crust was very nicely done.  Very nice crunch.  The toppings had great flavor.  This seems to be the same with all of the New York pizza I've tried so far.

Here's a couple of pics from the outside of them making the pizza.

So far New York has been a worthy competitor to Chicago pizza.  Can't say which I like better.  They are totally different things.
