We were done at the hospital for the night. Before we headed to the hotel, we decided we wanted to grab something to eat. After a day or burgers and chicken sandwiches, nothing sounded better than a good pizza. Just put Pizza in my phone's GPS. The closest one (that wasn't a national chain) that came up with Grady's Pizza and Subs. What the heck. Might as well try it.
We sat down ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. They had a specialty pizza called Meat Lovers. I'm actually surprised Pizza Hut legal hasn't been all over that. But anyway, we ordered a medium one.
When it arrived, I was shocked at the amount of toppings. Lots of meat on this pizza.
The pizza had a really good piece. I was only able to eat a couple of pieces. There was so much on this pie. The crust was really good. It had a nice crispness on the bottom, but still a little gooey bit of crust under the toppings.
I really enjoyed the pizza. After looking online at the reviews, I have to agree. A little slow with getting the pie out. But this is old school pizza. The ovens look like the ones I used at Ken's Pizza in the 80's. Not the 5 minute pizza ovens you see at the modern places.
Can't wait to try another Little Rock pizza place. Suggestions?
