So the first picture is my first attempt at making Chicago deep dish stuffed pizza.
The next one is a Pizza Sub. So I didn't have any dough ready, but wanted to make something quick for me and my son. So I ended up with the following. We had a loaf of French bread (for some reason). So I simply cut it, put pizza sauce on it, sausage, pepperoni, and cheese. Let it cook for a bit (until the bread crisps up and the cheese melts). Then fold over and cut into pieces. Turned out pretty good and was very quick.
I also know I also did a dedicated post on the breakfast pizza that I love to make... But found an older picture, so I thought I would throw it in here.
Here's a pic of one of my favorite quick lunches. I was doing a training class from home a while back. Every day, I would run downstairs a few minutes before lunchtime. Stick the pizza stone in the oven and put it on pre-heat. Then when lunch started, I would run downstairs. Grab a Flour Tortilla, add some sauce, onion, green pepper, pepperoni (if we had it) and some cheese. Throw it in the oven and within 10 minutes or so, it is good to go. It is really about letting the tortilla get crispy on the bottom. Considering how easy and quick these are, they are really good. If we have leftover chicken, my son loves it when I make these. Warm cubed chicken in BBQ sauce. Put it on the tortilla and add cheddar cheese. Turns out really good...
The last one I want to show, is my Calzone. Not sure if it is Cal Zone or Cal Zone A.
But either way, I love eating them. I love ordering them, but they are so easy to make at home. I normally just use my Chicago deep dish dough.
Here they are before they cooked.
After they've been on the stone for a while.
And finally 1 plated, with dipping sauce. One of my all time favorites.
