Giordano's - My standby

So while I'm in Chicago, I've got to have Giordano's.  It has always been my favorite pizza.

It's my last night in Chicago, so it is now or never.  I found the closest Giordano's to the hotel.  I knew I was in an expensive neighborhood.  On the way to the restaurant, these are some of the cars I saw:

Anyway, after walking by these cars (and looking like a tourist by taking pictures with my phone), I arrived at the pizza place.

So just like at Gino's East last night, there wasn't a personal size pizza.  I just had to order the smallest one I can and eat what I can (about half).

You can see, that if you are here during lunch time, a personal size pizza, side and drink for a great price.  Just about looks like the same deal I got at Lou Malnati's earlier in the week.

So after a little wait, my pizza arrived:

So I love this pizza.  The amount of the cheese is just incredible.  Normally this crust has always been my favorite.

But after last night's at Gino's East, it just wasn't as good.  I really wish I had the crust from Gino's East and the cheese from Giordano's.

So this wraps up my week of pizza in Chicago (unless I find something in MDW tomorrow on my way out of town).  Can't wait to get back to Chicago for more pizza.
